Privacy is very important. If people didn't protect their privacy on the internet then no one would have money because other people would take our credit card numbers. Also everyone would be stalked by online predators and not be able to have any private time to themselves. No one would be able to do anything with out getting something stolen.
There are always ways to protect your self from identity theft.
